How To Play Family Feud With Friends

In a gathering or a party, there will surely be food and some catching up. But of course, it will be more fun with activities, so you could bond with one another. It could also be a game night. With holidays coming, there will surely be a lot. No matter what, there should be games prepared for this time.

One of the most popular games you could play is the family feud. You could have seen it on TV, and it might look simple enough. It is, but you will need enough preparation for this.

1. Have Some Categories

For you to be easier in preparing questions, you should prepare what will be the categories. If your party or gathering has a theme, you could choose something that will match it. If it is more casual, it could be something that you and your friends have the same interest.

2. Prepare Questions

After choosing a category, you would need to have questions that are actual surveys. There are two ways to get this:

a. Surveying

You could do the actual surveying yourself. You can enlist some help with this one. You could go to some communities and have some surveys with them. One example is school. If you know some students, you could ask them a favor in filling up a survey. You could also ask for permission for some clubs and ask them there. If it is your style and has the capacity to do it, you can even ask random strangers in a park or restaurant. But the easiest way to do it will be through social media.

b. Research

As said earlier, social media will be the easiest way to gather surveys. You do not even have to do some surveying yourself because there will be sites that will give you. The problem for this is that it might not be authentic and if you are looking for that, this might not be for you. Another is that some categories are harder to find than the other.

3. Prepare the Materials

After gathering all the questions, you will need some materials. This includes how you will reveal the answers. You could have some whiteboard and write all the answers then have it covered until the reveal. If you have an LCD projector, you can do them by a powerpoint. You will also need buzzer for this, and there are affordable buzzers you can buy or just be creative like having a bell or some sort.

4. Divide Teams

Then after the preparation and before playing the game, there should be teams first. You could do it ahead of time or at the moment of the game. On the game itself, it should only have five players so if the team has more, the can choose who will participate and can rotate if you choose to play more than one game.

5. Play the Game

Now it is time to play the game. Each answer should have point equivalent and whoever gets the most points in five rounds will win.

How To Make New Friends After College

Now that you have graduated, it is time to face a new life. You would need to find new jobs and think about your needs and bills. In short, it is time for you to be an adult and be responsible. But that does not mean you will neglect your social life. With busyness coming ahead, it seems quite hard to do it. But there are ways to do it, and it does not take that much effort.

1. Stay in Touch

The best way to have friends after graduating is staying in touch with your college friends. This also includes others like your high school friends and from other places. This way, you can still have someone to talk to and know someone you can just hang out with and share stories with. You can have a get together when your schedules align. Also, this is also an opportunity to meet new friends if they have met someone.

2. Trying a New Hobby

It is never too late to try something new. This includes sports, arts and crafts, music, etc. The great thing about this is that you will be able to make new friends. It could be through classes where you can bond with someone who is also doing that for the first time. Some hobbies also have communities online or even locally. Not only you will have new friends, but you will also have someone to guide and help you with your new hobby.

3. Join Some Clubs

There are some clubs and groups of all sorts around. You can find something that holds your appeal. It could be something new that you want to try or just an old interest. That way, you will meet some people that share your passion and also some more fascinating people.

4. At Your Work

Having a new job may be intimidating but that does not mean it will stop you from befriending your coworkers. Some of them might be as new as you, and it is a great tool to get to know them because you are having the same experience at the moment. Also, it will be great to befriend some of the seniors. That way, you can learn more about your workplace. So if they invite you to go out after work or have lunch with them, grab the opportunity.

5. Social Media

Nowadays, you do not even need to go out to make some friends. With different apps and social media, you will be able to meet someone, and you do not even need to be in the same country. Truly, the internet made the world smaller. Because of that, you can easily make friends. You can set up a blog and that way, you can meet people that share your interest. You can also have some meetups especially if you discover that you just live in the same area. In fact, you can find people with the use of social media and if you are a person who gets awkward talking to new people in person, this might help you.
