For the next 10 days I’ll be counting down my top 10 favorite Summer beauty products. I thought about just giving it to you all at once but that’s a lot of info to take in + a lot for me to type, so in no particular order here is number 10 of my Summer beauty product favorites.

NO. 10 Bump Fighter Razor

My Summer wardrobe is nonexistent without these razors. Nevermind that it is “for” men, I’ve been through the double, triple + quadruple versions of women razors + for years I thought my skin was the problem. Earlier this year I decided to try a different approach because trying to go to the beach after you’ve just shaved + being stung by salt water is enough motivation for me to make a drastic change of any measure!
At first I went with cream hair removal. That did NOT last long. The smell was awful. The cleanup was awful. And I was deathly afraid that it would end up somewhere else like my head {hello bald spot!} given I am not always the most graceful or minding person. So then I was shopping online + completely out of razors I decided to try my luck. I started with the mens section + struck gold! I’ve had smooth, razor burn free + hair bump free legs ever since. Finally!

So about this particular razor…It has a single blade + a sturdy base. Upon first glance the base looks like cheap plastic but it actually has a nice weight to it + a no-slip grip handle. It also has a bump guard that angles the blade slightly off your skin which keeps you from repeatedly running a sharp blade over your skin while you de-hair. After using other razors for so long it’s a bit tricky to handle at first but worth the extra effort once I got a handle on it.

My only dilemma with these razors {used to be} where to shop for them. I used to order them from Amazon.com to avoid a trip to the beauty supply store but my last order {refills} came from Walgreens + I recently found out that they also carry them in select Walmart stores {though I avoid that place as much as possible} if in a pinch + I’m out again I know where to go. Prices vary between retailers but you’ll still be paying a fraction of the price shelled out for other razors + it actually works!
