You’ll have to forgive the appearance {lack of product remaining} in some of these products. I loved them so much that I may have indulged a bit excessively.

Here are my favorite October beauty products:

Hair- Giovanni Direct Leave-In Weightless Moisture Conditioner with Eco Chic Technology

This product is labeled for “all hair types” but very rarely do I ever straighten my curls so I can’t vouch for that. What I can say is that this is an amazing leave-in that has a very light scent + a little goes a long way. I have thick curls {very thick} + only need quarter size drop to work through my doo. This product is also: Cruelty-Free; Contains 100% vegetarian ingredients; Contains no phthalates, artificial fragrance, dyes, sulfates, parabens; And is leaping bunny approved=)

Cost: About $9

Where to buy: Target; drugstore dot com

Skin- 40 Carrots Retinol-Rich Skin Care Carrot + Crème Cleanser

My skin care regimen changes with the weather + the weather changes often down here. When it cools down I reach for thicker cremes + creamy cleansers. This one is packed with glycolic acids that do wonders for my oily skin{thank God I can avoid wrinkles!} without over drying it. It exfoliates + keeps my skin moisturized. This product is paraben-free + cruelty-free, also huge bonuses.

Cost: $8-$15 {depending on where you buy it from} I purchased mine from Marshalls for about $8.

Where to buy: Marshalls, TJ Maxx, drugstore dot com

Makeup – NYX  HD Photogenic Concealer in Nutmeg

I so ♥ this concealer. Let me give you a quick run down.

♥ Talc-Free

♥ Paraben Free {pretty big deal!}

♥ Cruelty-Free {huge deal}

♥ Mineral Enriched

♥ Perfect match for my skin tone

This has a wand applicator which makes it that much easier to apply precisely + avoids wasting/using excess product. Plus it’s in a lip gloss tube so it doesn’t take up a lot of space in my makeup bag. There is only one other concealer that has ever come close to measuring up + this one still comes in first place.

Cost: $6

Where to buy: Ulta

Do you have a favorite go to product or brand that you use specifically to keep your skin/hair moisturized + balanced? Have one you want to suggest for me to try? Leave me a comment, I love to experience new products!

    1. I mostly use it in the evening so I avoid waking up with an over oily face. I want to try one of their creams next.
