Detoxify: Kelp + Aloe Exfoliating Face Mask

Known for its ability to nourish, tone + detoxify the skin kelp is one of those natural ingredients that should be added to your list of beauty must-haves. Kelp powder offers the most convenient form of use + is the easiest to store. It can be purchased at health stores or online. Always check the ingredients label when purchasing organic + natural goods to be sure you are getting what the label states + not an “edited” version.

Benefits: increases blood circulation, exfoliating properties, removes toxins, tones, cleanses

Make this mask a regular part of your beauty routine using it once or twice a week.

Measure

1 tbsp kelp powder

1 tbsp raw honey

1 small aloe plant {slice + squeeze out gel}

Whenever aloe is called for I snip a piece from the plant we have growing on our back patio, no preservatives necessary + it keeps costs down from purchasing it commercially.

Smear this on your face avoiding eye + mouth areas. Leave on for 10-20 minutes + rinse with luke warm water. Follow with daytime/night moisturizer. Obviously if you are applying day cream you should be using a sunscreen as well if there is not one built into it already.

Don’t miss out on reaping the benefits of this easy do-it-yourself mask. My results were incredibly smooth + glowing skin. The very best I can describe it is my skin felt super relaxed + looked extremely radiant, as if I just had my makeup done, and that was at 8 am!
