Day by Day Beauty | Vitamin C Serum Review

Day by Day Beauty | Vitamin C Serum Review

day by day 2

So I’ve been using this vitamin c serum for about a month {daily}. I use it on my all over my face + neck as I do with most of my other facial care products. I even used it on my eye area which is a real issue to keep moisturized. Anything too heavy in that area + it smothers my skin + I break out. Anything too light is just a waste of money because it never gets the skin moisturized. I’m not really sketchy about serums only about the reaction my skin will have to certain kinds.

§

The first thing that I noticed when I started using it is that the serum feels wetter rather than creamy or oily like other serums I’ve used before. This formula is also plant-based, non-sticky + virtually odorless. Nothing drives me crazier than using products with a sticky feel or strong odor. Another plus is that there is no alcohol {can dry skin out} or parabens {breaks skin out}.

As far as my skin’s reaction? I’m pleasantly satisfied with the benefits my skin reaps from using this serum. My pores aren’t standing out so no more flip flopping with whether or not I can use creamy or liquid cosmetics in this crazy hot weather, my acne scarring is nearly non-existent + overall my skin stays moisturized. It took care of the dry skin around the inner parts of my eyes + keeps my cheeks from becoming an oily mess. I’m using less cosmetic powder + my makeup stays put all day long. I should also note that after cleansing my skin this serum is the first thing I put on before anything else. And I give it some time to sink in {usually about 10 minutes} before putting anything else on my skin.

§

The last thing I’m going to brag about is the packaging. I love that it comes with a pump instead of a dropper or tube. And the glass bottle is a dark cobalt blue which also helps keep out light + actually keeps the product cooler. I still wouldn’t store it anywhere but my bathroom cabinet but every bit helps when dealing with anti-aging products that don’t use crazy chemicals to prolong shelf life.

This sounds like a very good serum. I´ve never heard of this brand before.
